This website will become, through a gradual development process, the hub of an organization dedicated to investors following the plan laid out by Al Lee in his book, Income for Life - from Real Estate : HOW THE TORTOISE GOT RICH.
Members will be able to download software products developed by Al and by others to aid investors in selecting and managing income properties. The tools distributed with the book (on a PC & Mac compatible CD) will be expanded and improved based upon feedback from you, the users. New tools may be created, as well.
We will publish articles written by Al and by other experienced investors and professionals addressing topics of interest to you. Legal, managerial, financial, and market research issues will be addressed.
You will be able to ask questions of Al or other associates and receive responses posted on the site for the benefit of all members.
If interest is sufficently high, Al Lee also intends to form an Investor Club for members who would like the benefit of Al's, and other members', experience on an ongoing basis. Vendors or suppliers willing to offer special pricing or other advantages to our members will be offered a venue at this site. Al Lee intends to negotiate for favorable terms with lenders based upon the assurance that our members are conducting their business in the most professional and competent manner and therefore present a better risk than a randomly selected borrower. Similarly, he will attempt to make arrangements with insurers, property managers, and other sources for goods and services necessary to execute our investment plan.
Please keep watching this site. We realize that we are not able to implement every feature the first day, but we will build gradually and surely as time goes on--much like the Tortoise who we are emulating in our investment plan.
